Yes, exactly.

Last summer I was also all about the Flying Dog (Frederick, MD). I think Tire Bite Golden was my favorite.

But now I'm not drinking beers so much. CALORIES, holy crap.

1st IPA was Sierra Nevada since then I have found several that do that style justice & it is my preference aside from Stout.
That seems to be a common thing. Almost everybody I know who likes stouts likes IPA's, which I think is weird since the two styles have practically nothing in common.
I just like the hoppy bitterness I guess (IPA). Stone Ruination, for example, tastes like it is some beer form of Grapefruit juice...

Flying dog is good too. I've been trying to drink mostly local beer these days. Lots of Heavy Seas, Flying Dog, Dogfish, and some Wild Goose. Mostly my homebrew though. I find it challenging to go through 5 gallons of beer in any reasonable amount of time

Haven't had to start worrying about calories yet. I dread the day.

120min IPA + 15 min drinking time = 30 min until face hits the pavement. Honestly, it's just too damned much.
I do not disagree, but I must has!
$30 for a 4-pack?

Is it even worth it?

That is cheap, most places will probably be changing more than $10 per bottle.
