We used to buy them and break the racket part off and use them to taze each other at BBQs and what not. Now, I have one intact for its intended purpose.

I saw some bumble bee looking things (or so I thought they were bumble bees) flying around our deck a month or so and they don't look to be around anymore.. I hope they weren't carpenter bees and are burrowing or hibernating..

So I was reading an article and it was saying how self driving cars are likely to be here by 2020.. All I can say is wow if that's really true as it's a lot sooner than I'd expected. Pretty wild to think that my kids will never have to drive. At this point I'm all for self driving cars so I can do other things in the car.

We're almost there now, with automated cruise control, braking, etc. 2020 is a bit early, but 2025 will be just in time for the wave of creaky and infirm Baby Boomers who want to still go places on their own.

Sorry.

I don't usually get screwed up by Monday Holidays but this one, for some reason, really 'effd my internal clock.
