I cannot wait to do this with a racing game.

Pretty darn cool. Ya I imagine sim games will have a huge benefit from VR headsets. I always loved mech warrior games and between those and racing games I could see myself "investing" in a VR headset in the future.

That is pretty nuts.. I'd think you'd get a little more for $400 as well..? I guess not though.. People just probably don't know any better and compare it to other firepits and think it's not too bad..?

Yep.. I've been looking into some and the "kits" are a better deal, at least not the several thousand dollar ones. I think some ~$1200 or so are decent quality, decent sized, and not too expensive. I looked at some plans like you did and it's crazy how expensive it is. A slide itself costs like $200.. The only "problem" I see with the non-super expensive kits like from Rainbow/etc is the weight limit for the swings won't handle my fat ass.. but I'll save myself a couple grand and just not swing..

The best deal is probably finding someone selling one in good shape on craigslist for cheap.. I think I'm a year or two out from really buying one though.

Um... I don't mean to be pedantic but adhesive is a synonym for glue.

We found one on Craigslist we are going to go look at today. We visited the Rainbow and Play N Learn showroom up by us. It's kind of crazy to me that they sell $15,000 playgrounds.

Did you know that posting a link to word usage in a thesaurus is a synonym for being pedantic.

Nice, good luck. I'd guess as long as you get one that's not much older than ~5yrs old it should be in very good shape. I'm guessing some of the older sets that haven't been cared for and/or have rotting boards might just be more trouble than they're worth..? Ultimately the good thing about the swingsets is they're not exactly rocket science.. I've thought about buying a cheaper set and somehow sistering up the beam that supports the swings so it could handle adults..

It is two years old. Should be good for many more.
