The basic "tell me how to get to this address" bit is the easiest. You start with the state, then the town, then the house number and, finally, the street. You don't even need the zip code.
Some of the cool features are buried a little too deep in sub-menus, IMHO, but once you remember where they are, it isn't that bad and you get used to it.

Garmin's are SUPER easy to use. Bobbie is horrible with those kinds of things but she jumped right in and figured it out almost instantly.
