Sorry you feel it's petty. Not all of us are as high a standard as you.

But yes, threads are supposed to be kept to 2000 posts. If Dan feels he's special enough to open up a thread I locked, then I'll dump them. You can thank him for all that info going to the dumpster.
Dude, you volunteered for a thankless job, and I appreciate that. We all do.

I accept your apology, because I do think it was petty on your part. Not sure how my "standards" factor into any of this, but I'll take it as a compliment. What was the foul in Dan posting in his thread and then re-locking it? Sure the HAW is more of a chat room, but it is still his thread. Yes, it went past the 2000 post mark, but you posted after Post #2000. In fact, you posted a couple of times to close it.

Again, we all need to be less divisive and more accomodating. I'm speaking about me, too. Perhaps restraint is the word I'm looking for, whether it be in the form of our chosen words or our actions. This is supposed to be a community, not a compilation of cliques.

As far as I know, I didn't write an apology. You wanted to go on and say I was petty. So be it. I wrote back in response to it. Take my remark as a compliment if you'd like. I guess you interpret the " "rolleyes: " a little different than others.

As for your facts about my posting past 2000. It was one post past 2000 because I sent them all at once and someone chimed in before 2000.

It's funny you should chime in about how this should be a community and not a compilation of cliques. The pot calling the ketlle black.

How many threads have we unlocked once they've been locked? That's the problem Dan. You want to think that just because you started a HAW thread, that you have the right to unlock it after a CO has already locked it. It's simple. You wanted to have the last word on something retarded.

We can argue this all night. But the fact remains that threads get locked after 2000 posts. Why do you have the need to unlock it to post something that meant nothing? Because you thought you were special.

Oh please. This isnt a power trip. More like putting an idiot in his place. What you need to learn here is grade school. There are rules to be followed. You obviously can't follow them.

Exactly. You did it to have fun. That's why you decided to break a rule. That's why I dumpd it, to prevent you from breaking the rules because it's fun.
