Yeah.. this was from a private seller, but i think he may work at a performance shop. The part got here now and hopefully it gets in the car before the holidays, but it seems real sketchy. Me and this guy agreed on 150 shipped. I however, wanted overnight, so i said i would pay the difference. He said UPS was 175.04, so i asked him to do 300 shipped. (+paypal and a happy meal for the guy = 314) I made it clear to the guy i wanted the fastest shipping available. Now he is trying to say the parts retail for far more, so i should be happy and not worry about the rest.
IMO, its a real dick move to tell someone the actual cost for shipping is 175 and then pay 116. If he found a cheaper shipping method he should have told me, and its even more shady that he got the slowest option when i was quoted the most expensive.
I paid with paypal and a credit card, if he refuses to offer a partial refund i'll take it from there i guess...

and f*** that noise about "retails for much more"... so the f0ck what? You're not selling it for that much, i'm not paying that much, it's not the price that was agreed to, I don't give a good god damn wtf it retails for, because that's not the $$ amount of this transaction, ass wipe. Retail price is completely irrelevant to this discussion.
What IS relevant is the fact that you requested and paid for a service (shipping) that was not used. It's like buying, I dunno, a Mugen exhaust on sale and getting an Invidia because the seller decided to save some cash on their end, then telling you it's still a good deal.
