Look at what this asshole just said... He is trying to say that I have no reason to be mad and he isnt going to refund the excess shipping... I guess i just need to call my credit card company.. but i dont want to cancel his whole payment, just what he is trying to cheat me on.... This guy is really a dick.

u don't return axels = no refunds..

end of story..

your one of those people never happy with anything.

now send it back and u will get full refund.

if you want to keep my axels.. stop crying about it..

When someone tells you 175.04 is the actualy shipping price for UPS... how the hell do they pay 116 for DHL (later delivery time) and think its okay not to refund the difference?????

haha, I'm trying not to, but this guy makes me mad again everytime he responds. I would think he would not want to be a dick... He is acting like he is in control, but all i have to do is call my credit card company. I'm just trying to be nice.

I'd mention what you can do with the credit card company and possibly other actions you're willing to take. Ask him if all the hassle he'd be dragged into is worth the money he's trying to gyp you for.

11 miles was too long for him to drive? FFS.

Exactly.. On top of it being only 11 miles, the worst part is that UPS offers 3 times as well... 930, 12, and 3.. 175 for 930... 140 for 3.. I paid 175 so i could have it at the shop asap. DHL has the same options... 10, 12 and 3.. its 126 for 10.. and 116 for 3.. This asshat does the 116. He didnt even get me the fastest DHL.

I think he knew DHL was way cheaper.. quoted me UPS with no intention to use UPS.. and I caught him, so he doesnt want to admit he was trying to cheat me. It seems like he always ships DHL.. why would he quote me UPS, if it wasnt for this purpose.

I told him i would just call my credit card company, he doesnt seem to care. I told him he had until 5PM tomorrow.

it's theft, plain and simple. you paid for one thing, he gave you another.

not only that, it's deceptive.

Tell you what, I've sold tons of stuff online and shipped it all. Occasionally I end up pocketing a whole dollar or two off shipping costs and sometimes I get nailed for a couple bucks (seldom anything too big and heavy).

I got nailed to the tune of about $100 shipping some wheels once because I didn't estimate properly. I asked the buyer if he'd help me out and he said "oh well." Never hurts to ask, but I ate it.

If I had estimated and received $200 to ship the wheels and it cost me $75, don't you think the buyer would want that extra money back?

Your axles (not "axels" ... dude should invest that $56 in spelling lessons) ended up costing you $56 more than the agreed-to price. He scammed it out of you and for that reason alone I wouldn't expect him to refund it. I'm not sure where the law falls on this matter, but I do know it sucks.

On top of that, not only did he scam you out of $56 on a promised service, he failed to deliver the promised service.

This kinda shit just pisses me off. How much were the axles, anyway?

ask him if he would "just be happy with it" if he quoted you $56 LESS than it actually cost to ship? Would he just ship it and eat the cost? I think not.
