I have learned a very valueable lesson today: Cold mediation is not to be played with.

The bigger the high, the harder the crash...

In the end, the roof and the skylight totalled $4200. Can't remember if I mentioned it, but there was a pretty decent sized hole in the plywood above Kyle's room. The roof took 3 sheets of plywood in repairs in basically two different spots. The new skylight needed to be boxed in as the previous one did not have a wood frame to which it attached.

I haven't seen the finished project, however, a couple of neighbors have already commented positively.

This definitely is not the first time I've heard this; however, it makes perfect sense considering what I said above.

Chris, Kyle came home the other day, walked into the house and said, "Dad, your taillights look darker." "WHAT? What do you mean?!" as I jumped from my computer chair. He said, "Yeah, they looker a lot darker." I continued to storm outside. After looking at them, I exclaimed, "What the heck?!"

The look on Kyle's face was priceless. I then told him that they were your smoked housings.

That's usually not limited to cold medicine.
