Have you heard of anyone using a floating pick-up???

I've read about how rock-crawlers will sometimes put the pick-up at the end of a hose so it can slosh around with the gas. Not sure if it would work on a road course, though...

That is actually part of the plan. But, I belive, they require the roll-bar as well.

A floating pick up would help in high G turns, judging from the pics, Skip was at about 3.2G's mid turn
