Really? That surprises me... Even the circuit boards and such?

My experience is that the companies refuse to service the units and just prefer to replace them. There isn't much to them besides a chain and a motor anyways. I can recall my Dad replacing the motor on the one we had when I was really little, but that was like 20 years ago...

I have a pair of old Sears units at my house that could use some help. I'll take your advise and see if I can order some parts instead of replacing them... Thanks for the tip, George!

Yep

Sears parts

The Circuit board was $ 50.00, I wasnt sure that was the problem either and the whole thing was nasty inside anyway.
