Now here's the thing, the company may want to lower my pay after the first of the year and expects 2x the performance.
I plan on leaving anyway, just don't want to have any lapse of income.
Seems like you need to get the heck out of Dodge anyways... That "its you or him" BS has got to go. Not cool! Sounds like your boss is just looking for a scapegoat and doesn't want to make the hard choices himself. That is what management is for. I respect the fact that they want you involved, but this is too much. It shouldn't be your choice!
Just the same, good luck in finding a new gig.
I am sure it has to be better than the miasma you are stuck in now...

I went to hooters last night with the other pilot down here in FL...
and we were watching the game, eating wings... talking to our hot waitress... well after a couple beers the other pilot (married 38 year old guy) kept telling me how I should try and get her number... im keep telling him "no way, no way will she give it to me, not to one of her customers" well as the night goes on she gets more and more friendlier telling me all about where shes from etc, so finally the other pilot writes on a napkin- Cale wants your number and hes to shy to ask- so before I can say anything she takes it and the recipt... comes back 5 mins later and puts it upside down next to me with her number on it...
thats the good part... 30 mins later when I get back to my hotel room, im thinking, what the hell, so I call her. she answers and say real quick "hey cale, cant talk right now, ill call you right back" Im thinking whatever, ohwell, and fall asleep (or passout, i had a little too much to drink.)
this morning I wake up to find 2 text messages and a missed call.
DAMIT... supposedly we come here once or twice a week, so im gona have to start bidding trips down here!
