2-channel amp for the sub = this one is fairly new... should be fine.
4-channel for the doors/hoops = might be baked...

Yes, in the AP1 the trim plate pulls off and clears the center console. In the AP2, it can be removed (very tough) but will not go back on without removing the center piece around the shifter.

There is some information that suggests you can get the door off without completely removing the console. However, you run the risk of damaging the radio door by doing so.

I'll be removing the console just to play it safe. I hate broken interior parts.
