I walked into the seminar and immediately got this feeling like I'd been there before. It took about five minutes before I really figured it out. I stayed as not to be rude but as soon as I had my chance, I split.
well im waiting for next weekend when i actually see Tom. i expect to see him in a white button down shirt, a thin black tie, black pants, black framed glasses, and when he sees me he'll start talking about amway.

I have not seen Amway let alone Avon since the early 80's...
I thought they were running under a new name called Quickstar or something?

Depending on your experience level though. After a long enough time a second page is necessary and acceptable.
I actually think that might be part of my problem. I have four jobs on my resume and I have had to really truncate the descriptions of them to get it all on one page. I thought about dropping one of the jobs but I think it is really crucial for me to have them all on on there because each job I have had has taught me an important skill.

Well... Except for my current one. That is just there to not make me look unemployed.

I dunno... Obviously I am doing something wrong. I am really hoping that this class I am going to tomorrow will give me some new pointers.

i was a little pissed about it. i really wanted to do that job. i was at the point where CO jeff is now with his job, i was ready to get the hell out of here. and it was partialy outside, which is nice, i was still living at my parents house and it was only like 5 minutes away and that wouldve been great.

That is actually one of the things that embarrasses me about my dad. he goes off on those people so bad that they hang up on him. and its not that he's being mean or anything, he just catches them off gaurd and they dont know what to do. he enjoys talking to these people. sometimes up to an hour.
I just hang up (here @ work) no home phone FTW.

Yea... I saw those ads on TV, too. I dunno... Amway has SO much bad press that I suspect they are just trying to get creative.

Listing your jobs is not as important as listing your abilities.

If all 4 jobs gave you important skills pertinent to the new job, then it should be a page of your abilities and skills in general. Then maybe 6 lines total just saying where the job was and how long you held it.
