Happy hour is too far away from me.

and who is Muse?
I call on that.... It may be further than you wish to travel for an evening but you CAN do it. If I can go, anyone can go.

I can accept zero responsibility for what your Thursday morning looks like, though.

All the n00bs always call the distance card. I just stopped explaining to them that leaving the 20 mile radius around their house will not kill them!

If I may... Have you ever had the S professionally aligned?
Alignment is on the list of things to try out. The Gendron bar and coilovers didn't really do a whole lot for more confident cornering (though they did provide other benefits).

And the corners around here are chock full of gravel, sand, lumpy pavement, sticks, no shoulders, etc.

Hmmm. Never heard it defined that way before, but if it means not sliding through a ditch, hitting several trees, and totaling the car; then I'm okay with it.
Oh you'll still slide off the road, hit the tree, and die. You'll just get to see the tree coming when you do it.

Understeer means you hit the tree with the front of your car

Oversteer means you hit the tree with the rear of your car

Oversteer is better because you don't have to see the tree that kills you.
