I don't know how to properly describe it, but the Sentra feels much nicer and far more confident as it pivots in the turn. With the S, I have to lift out completely to find that tiny range between Grandma'ing the corner and flipping it around.
That "stable" feeling is called understeer and has a negative impact on overall handling prowess when the drivers nerves are removed from the equation.

No wonder it's quiet. Driving a Toyota is like driving in a sound-proof bubble.

If I may... Have you ever had the S professionally aligned? Me thinks it is out of whack. If you feel like the ass is going to come around in a turn, something ain't right (unless you are going at like Mach 4 ).

The over-sized front anti-sway bar I put on my car (my first mod, BTW) mad the ass end SIGNIFICANTLY more planted. Best low-buck mod I did to the car. Adding a good set of coil-overs also aided in this significantly. My car sticks to the road like glue.

Unless there is gravel. But we won't go there.

Hmmm. Never heard it defined that way before, but if it means not sliding through a ditch, hitting several trees, and totaling the car; then I'm okay with it.
