I would love to pick up a Canon EF 24mm f/1.4L II before the trip. Ain't no way it is going to happen but it would be nice...

So I know you guys had this conversation around two weeks ago...but I was thinking about getting a set for the integra seeing at how it has a CF hood...the Aerolatches...how the hell do they work? Are they just like flush hood pins? I read up on them and saw some pictures but they did no justice. What do they hook to in order to keep the hood down?
