So I couldnt spin a 2.5L to 9200 rpm?
You can spin it, but you won't make any power past ~8200 I think. The inline 2.5 L isn't meant to go over that RPM.

from what i've heard the windows one is insufficient - but yeah with the NAT in most cases you're good

what I like ZA for most is for things that go outbound without my knowledge, like stuff that phones home... then I can deny it anytime
Yes, Windows is not sufficient in itself.

No matter what firewall (software or hardware) you're running on a comcast or other public ISP, you're going to get SPAMMED by script kiddies trying to hack your connection, therefore reducing your bandwidth.

you could but it won't last to long..
So how would it be different from spinning our 2.0 up to 9200 and doing the same on a 2.5?

go out and buy a new linksys router for <$50. You'll get a decent NAT (please change the admin password) and some even have built in AV plus a software firewall.
