Btw, I'll be coming back from Ohio with two dogs. One is worthless(in all areas) and the other is an Australian sheep-herding dog(Cubby). I love Cubby, but am loathing having to plan my life around a dog. Cats can be left for 2-3 days no problem. Dogs can't be left for 12 hours. 
My sis has a couple of Goldens that I can go play with if ever I am in need of some "puppy love." (
