How do you like the scooby? I was debating back and forth between an AWD WRX Wagon and a 4Runner - obviously went the 4Runner side.

i really like it a lot. it's not QUITE as spacious as I guess I was expecting (cargo-wise), but it's a huge improvement over the S

I just have to be creative about loading it up with all my photo gear. Also just slapped some snow & ice tires on. Fun fun fun... (Blizzak Revo 1)

the other thing is that I can't run it hard at all and expect better than 17mpg if I'm lucky. Which is really pitiful. I wish I'd thought about mileage when I got it... I can run the crap out of the S in local-only traffic and still get 18mpg. I'm driving like a grandma for a full tank to see what kind of mileage I can manage.
