Nah, I had it right. That 77 Mustang started falling apart the day I drove it off the lot. Got horrible gas mileage, burned 4 quarts of oil a month. (new car mind ya) Dealer said that was NORMAL.. So I decided to get rid of it. Poor bastard that bought it called me about two months later and the engine threw a rod.

Wife talked me into the Taurus, I can't tell you how many problems that car gave us. It stayed in the shop for 12 weeks in one stretch, and the day I picked it up it broke down a mile away from the dealership.

Now the 65 is a different story, and worth a hell of a lot more than the $500.00 I paid for it in 1969.

is that yours? Looks very nice... in fact identical to the one I got in June... I had to look at the tailnumber to make sure!
I wish. Sadly no. I use to fly, took lessons, never finished, but have actually flown as PIC over 250 hours. Friends and family owned planes.

I also fly RC planes, and had a yellow cub, looked just like yours. Slow, but very very stable.

Don't know why my father kept buying the Taurus. Our family had:

93 Taurus
96 Taurus
99 Taurus

The switch from the 93-96 was due to an accident, but it was due to fall apart anytime. The 99 fell apart in 03, I guess the reliability improved

One of my favorites. I drove a '69 AMX 390 the last year or so of high school. Everbidy always asked why the back seat was ripped out.

Sad but true... again, it was a NEW car. jezzz I would NEVER buy a used FORD. Well 30's-60's wasn't tooo bad, and the GT??? Okay, I would buy ONE Ford.
