Geek Thread: XBOX 360
Do we want to make another thread just for a Mid-A Forza league or keep it going in here?
We could setup a weekly thing and then have a series of races with points and stuff and a championship race. Say a 6 weeks series? Each week we decide on track and what class car will be used. I also think we should set a standard of what assists can be turned on/off.
I also think it would be cool to keep a Mid-A Forza Time attack records list. That's something anyone can do at any time and it's easily viewable. I don't think we should do every single track configuration but kind of pick one of each.
What do you guys think? I'd be glad to keep track of the Time Attack records.

I have been racing in a GT5 league all year, below is the format we used in the current series, its been very competitive and clean for the most part. 3 classes and shorter races keeps it interesting.
All the racing takes about a hour to 1.5 plus we usually practice for a hour before.
Series 6 will continue to run at 9pm CST on Monday evenings. Race stewards are still in effect. The league is still combined so all drivers will compete together. If we get overloaded, we will consider splitting the league again.
Drivers that disconnect from the room will be marked with a DNF and will be issued points based on their order of race exit. Example; Driver A disconnects first, they will receive points equivalent to last place, etc. If a driver feels the need to quit the race, they will be required to remain in the race lobby until the finish of the race to earn points based on their order of race exit. If said driver quits race lobby, they will forfeit those points and will receive zero points for the race. Quitting the race and parking your car on the side of the race track is distracting to other drivers, and is strictly prohibited (including qualifying).
There will be a 10 minute qualifying session prior to each race night utilizing Class C vehicles. First race start will be based on fastest first and reverse based on race results for the remaining races.

I almost want to do a Forza S2000 challenge series too. That makes it real easy. You can run whatever class you want and the only ones truly competing against each other are the guys running the same class. Keeps the playing field pretty level and more into who comes best prepared with their car. Maybe I'll come up with some rules and then make a post to see what kind of interest there is.
