Accepted your add this morning Evan. I'm also thinking of picking up Bioshock and Mass Effect. Can anyone reccomend any other really good 360 exclusives?

Jeesh, between Halo 3, Forza 2, Mario Galaxy, and Rock Band, my Christmas Break looks like its going to be packed And I still have to pick up Mass Effect, Bioshock, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, UT3, and Assassin's Creed At least its winter and I actually have a chance to play them all since the car and tracking won't get in the way

 

Crackdown is a fun game, kinda GTA style, but more fun (IMO) and now it's cheaper.

Might have to try Crackdown, although it seems like that might be a rental for me. I can't imagine that Viva Pinata would be fun, or was that a joke?

 

nope, evan played viva pinata for hours on end... though it is a pretty cool game. my roomate got it for free, so that's the only reason I played it. lol

 

It's a fun, kinda mindless and kinda complex at the same time, game. Try the demo and you'll either love it or hate it.

 

Good multiplayer COD4 last night with Aaron.

I need to learn the Team games a bit better, I was getting wacked every 3 seconds it seemed.

 

FARG! I got the 3 red lights ring last night after playing for 2 minutes after a 1 week break. It just froze up, turned it off and back on. Red ring.

ARGH! I rarely play over 2 hours too! I DO have 2 more months left on my extended warranty with the store I bought it from, but I did the minor troubleshoot to remove the ring and now its gone so I can't reproduce it... wonder if they will still replace the console.

Crap.

 

Get it replaced, the ring will likely return.

 

Mine went away for like a week or 2 from the first time i got it until it was consistent...

 

Well the only thing I'm trying to do is get the one with the new motherboard, the ones with the HDMI ports. "Supposedly" these are not prone to the RROD probs.

Also to answer the question I asked earlier, it's confirmed you DO NOT need a receipt for your console for the 3 year warranty. It's covered from 3 years from the date of manufacture on the back of your console.

So technically I could send it back for them to refurb it with bigger heatsinks... but im just gonna bring it back to the store and exchange it for the newer models.
