As well they should.
I was all excited about everyone switching to PS4
I still will... $100+ for Kinect? After consideration, I actually like the idea of more racing wheel selection for PS4. I have my heart set on a Fanatic but may just get a Logitech.

Kinect comes with with XONE!

No, sorry, I meant it's $100 more for Xbox One for what benefit? Kinect? And any exclusives, I suppose.

Oh 100 more than the PS4? I didn't realize there would be a price difference.

and it would move more toward a Steam atmosphere in terms of cheaper games and stuff.
They have a digital delivery model in place already. Why isn't it cheaper?

It's like Kindle books on Amazon.
publishers can't make money off of used game sales. with the way it was before, publishers would have been able to sell used licenses and make profit.

So, you're saying the current digital distribution is priced to make up for losses in physical media sales?

PS3 has a version of game sharing - you can have another person log in with your account on their PS3, redownload all your digital content for no cost, and log out. The downloads are then on their PS3 and can be played under their gamertag. It was originally 5 different consoles but a year or two ago Sony reduced it to two I think. I don't know what the PS4 will allow, but this was a great way to "share" games with your friends.

Of course, just the same as stores mark up prices to cover theft, breakage, etc.

Basically. And companies don't want to piss off the Brick and Mortar stores by undercutting the prices
