Default New cars

So when i get back, i will have many options.

1. keep the S. buy a civic, make the civic clean with just I/h/e springs and wheels.
and gut the S and make it fully set up for the track for the following summer.

2. Keep the S, buy a civic, make civic clean, and just make the engine work right and replace a lot of engine parts to keep this constant breaking of crap from occuring.

3. Sell the S and buy an NA2 NSX. Maybe get a civic as a daily.

I will also be looking at getting a house, but that will be a whole different set of bills that i am ready to provide for. The money I am willing to spend on the cars is a seperate entity all together.

Thoughts opinions.

I am just tired of not having a daily when my car is constantly having problems cause i drive it too hard.

I have the S and a civic beater. No point in putting money into the beater, because then it wouldn't be a beater.

Seriously? If you have hopes of tracking the S, sell the sc'er. Put the motor back to stock. If you wanna be cool in the parking lots and at stoplights, keep it.

Save for the house and forget the NSX for now.

The more i have read about going to the track the more i see that i have a better chance meeting standards without the SCer. Which really sucks. Cause it is soooo fun. I really want the NSX, but i know it is just a want. I cant drive a civic unless it is clean. i would have to atleast drop it. Like an EG6 or something.

What are you talking about? Standards? You won't be racing anytime soon. First priority should be to learn how to drive. Being a great street driver means nothing on the track. Listen to a guy who has been down that road.

You do have a better chance of having a running vehicle. Nothing worse than paying for an event only to have your car not running or not running right. Again, this from a guy who's been down that road.

And you should heed Jim's advice: do not put any money into a worthless car. I'm referring to Civics.
