There's a company that makes a smart module to cancel out that on-ignition/off-ignition/on-ignition TCS deal. I might give it a shot. Was that tire combo on 17/18 or 18/19?

18/19, and that's exactly what happened... shut the car off betwen runs.

And I've done the same thing, street-wise. Turn TCS off while driving, pull into a place, shut the car off, hang out, go to leave, start it up, intend to pull out like a bad-ass with tires a-smokin', bog like a sum-bitch, look like an olympic caliber dork.
'Course I don't really need the car to accomplish that
.
traction control system. it slows down the rpm's of the engine in order to compensate for wheel spin as well as apply the brakes a little.....the end result, slow everything down to gain traction
i could be wrong with the acura tcs with using the brakes somewhat to help, i just know toyota's do that

It keeps it from falling into the hands of every day ricers and screwing up another great car from Japan (kinda like whats happening to the S2000 IMO).

What's TCS? And what's it suppose to do?
