My hope is to pick up the first - the Modified 91' Black/Black with 48 miles. However, the main thing I am worried of is it's transmission number. Most sellers on NSXPrime start off by saying whether or not their vehicle falls in the snap ring range.

The good part thing, Don (seller) has been pretty responsive through emails - which I like!

Don't know if you are interested in silver, but there is a 91 silver/black up here also.

I can, however with the given amount of money that I am looking to pay I'd be limited to a 91 or 92' NSX. The major issue is, those years are prone to have the snap ring problem in the transmission. Unfortunately, in order to know whether or not it falls in the range for the problem you have to get the actually transmission number - which varies from the VIN # as the transmissions were not installed in sequence to VIN by Acura.

As well - as maintenance is so expensive on an NSX, I'd prefer to be able to speak with the seller to verify the appropriate service was performed.

The other day when chatting with Alex he recommended that I take a look at cars.com to see if they happen to have anything there. I came across that Silver one, however am not too sure about that color. As well, the fact that it has no price kind of bugged me.

Just went to the web site for that particular dealer, that vehicle isn't showing in their inventory.

Didn't know if they still had it. I saw it a couple of weeks ago on the site. Without the price on the site, it makes you think that they want way to much for it.

Most likely they do. The NSX doesn't book value for too much, however they definitely do not sell cheap... sort of like the Supra. If I'm not mistaken, a 91' books out for like $21,000. Yet I haven't found a single under under $30,000 - except for ones with 120k+ miles for around $26,000.

True.

Definitely go with your gut instinct. If the first person is responding the way you like, then he is probably has less to hide. (Not saying that the other individuals do.) Also, don't really see you in a white car, even though your evo was white. Definitely black on black.

That's what I'm thinking... as of right now I'm stuck with either Black/Black or White/Black. Think with a nice window tint a White/Black with Black Top would look good... but finding White/Black is a bit more difficult, keep seeing White/Tan.

Red/Black is my only other option... but I really can't see myself in a red, no matter how immaculate the condition.
