Cuz HAW is for off topic discussion.

I believe it is preferable to keep the Mid-A main page for Mid A social business, car related stuff, and things we wish to share with each other.

If you want to just and chat with one another (something I have ABSOLUTELY no problem with) do it in HAW. That is what it is for.

See... The main page is what the rest of the s2ki.com community sees first and it is our only opportunity to make a first impression. I'd prefer that to be a relatively mature impression. I chat all day with my friends about absolutely nothing, too, but I do it in HAW cuz that is what it is for. Nearly every other community has some sort of off topic section that they use for mindless .
But seriously man, you KNOW theres like 90% of the other Mid-A members that dont even look a HAW. This is something different and fun. There's nothing wrong with changing stuff up sometimes. This is exactly why I rarely ever post in the Mid-A forums because I dont feel free to post what I want or feel without getting moved or blocked. Sure I can post in the Off Topic forums but I only care about waht the Mid-A thinks or has to say.

Older members may not care but when I meet all the new guys or people who rarely ever post from S2Ki they always complain or say that HAW is like a clique or where all the old guys hang or they seem like a bunch of dicks. Alot of members think like that and I always hate when I have to tell them that you guys are A-ok people once they meet you. Its stuff like this that makes me feel like why even post on the Mid-A forums.

I could say more but Im tired. I just wanted to express myself just a little bit, that's all.

moving along...

There is a HAW sub-forum and a HAW thread. The sub-forum is not exclusive. The HAW thread is a bit harder to break into, I'll give you that. Hell, half the time when I post in there, I know others don't share my views... and that's okay.

As a matter of fact, I hardly leave the HAW anymore, rarely post in the main Mid-A forum, and it is the very, very rare occasion when I post in other threads. Why? Because the board has become not what I want it to be. It increasingly fails to meet what I want. Not everyone can have everything at all times. Not even me.

Yes, I know Skip and you know this too! I'm sure you could name all the actual members that post in the HAW forums at any time. I know I post alot and all but look at how long it took to even start posting in the HAW forums! Imagine all the members who post casually. This thread will die down because it's been placed here in HAW unless I keep it going.

I want the CO's to be less powerhungry. That's what I want. It's not like anyones fighting or cursing each other out on the forums. I've become friends with alot of the members now and everytime I hang out with them I love when they talk about what I post on the threads (how its funny, random, etc) I know it may not meet what you want of the forums because you're a very no-nonsense kind of guy(or what I feel like you are) But I learn to adjust to the different class of people that sign onto these forums.

I dunno why this bothers me so much. I guess this is why I love posting in the Socal forums because everyones cool as shit and when some stupid stuff does go down. The Co's do their job by locking the thread, PMing the members, talking it out etc.

Im ranting too much about this stuff
