Well... I need an automatic in case a motor/tranny falls on me and cuts one of my hands, and I'm left unable to drive stick.

Skip, what is the Porsche for, daily beater, or are you thinking about moding a different car?

Replace the Princess? But I understand.

With the repair/maintenance costs, it would be for the occasional daily commute/weekend car. No modding intended. No tracking intended. No autocrossing intended.

Maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll be able to sell it and not take too much of a loss when the 2008 models become available making the Porsche 20 years old at that time. I just want to drive a sportscar for a while. Something that's not too expensive to get into might allow me to keep the S, albeit watered-down a bit.

Mark, you wanna meet up with me tomorrow morning? I sure wouldn't mind an extra pair of eyeballs. Fairfax, VA... supposedly close to Dulles.
Love to but slammed at work and know squat about 928s

Edited: This is the 911th post of this thread... coincidence? 911 = Porsche.

Perhaps, but if you were to roll up in your 968, the seller won't know that. He'll think you're a Porsche enthusiast and all-knowing!

Btw, I signed up to be a member of Canyon-Carvers.com. If S2KI adopted their rules/regs, holy poop, this place would be a ghost town, but much more useful!!!
