Yeah, it was actually a great trip. Learned quite a bit, plus had a good time during the non-class hours!

Found a local bar that charged $2 for Capt n' Cokes all night on Mondays! Plus made it good with the bartender at the hotel, drank for 5 hrs... free!


That stinks you can't make DBR though, I'm really looking forward to that trip!

 

Also trying to figure out what I did with Skip's cell number so I could call him and tell him to call Evan, assuming he has Evan's number. I don't want him getting burned on that vette he went to look at it if Evan's buddy has bad info on the car.

 

Sweet! Gotta take care of the bartender early so you can get hooked up the rest of the time.

 

DBR- I also don't have a car reliable enough to make it that far and my truck isn't real good in the twisties.

Eh, we didn't check out the bar in hotel until the very last night - the rest of the time we were out looking at other bars in area.

I felt bad cause I didn't have much cash on me, so I didn't tip too well. It's quite fun when the bar closes at 11:00 PM and we sat there drinking til 3!

 

- In the truck you could tow out the idiots who drive off the side!

Thanks for playing messenger I hadn't checked back on the thread since i posted that. I spoke to SKip, but I wasn't able to get in touch with my friend. Hopefully, he'll call me back tomorrow morning.

 

Well if your friend doesn't get back in touch hopefully it wasn't anything bad that he knew about the car.
