So really, who didn't get an email recently that included the following quip, "...Epsilon took immediate action to close the vulnerability and notified law enforcement." Why don't they say it like it is: Epsilon let all the animals out of the barn...and THEN closed & locked the barn door!

As for these emails starting off with 'To our valued guests...', that too should be reworded towards the reality of the situation: "To those whose information including names, email addresses and personal buying habits we sell at a profit with no concern over the safegard of same..."

I got about 6 of those e-mails. It seems every financial institution I do business with out sources their mail to Epsilon.
