Fine - I took some crappy pictures: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...&f=47&t=316833

They're not worthy of this thread - this is my official M3 thread

Definitely, definitely like those Daytonas. Those wheels look totally badass.

To each his own I don't plan on doing to the M3 what I did to the S.

Please explain to me the point of spending extra thousands on suspension for a daily driver that will occassionally be autoX'd - but I will take a look at the KW's. Only thing is, I keep reading all over the M3 boards that the only suspension kit people are NOT having problems with are the Koni/Eibach groundcontrols.

And since you've got all the extra money to do all these things to your M why isn't your S2000 modded more? When I first started with the S, there was an OEM lip, 18" SSR GT1's, and some Eibach lowering springs - why don't you let me get started with the M3 first
AFAIK, for the S2000, the KW V.3 is under $2000. I don't think that's bad for a $30k sports car or a $30-40 M3 as a daily driver. But if the Koni's/ GC's are working great for the M3 crowd, don't listen to me, I've never owned an M3. BTW, Dut (an S2KI member) went from S2000-M3 a little less than a year ago, I think he's using the KW Variant 2's on his 3 and likes them.

As for my M3, that was a hypothetical situation that I thought was obvious. I was simply giving my opinion on what I thought would look and perform well. And my S2000 is fairly stock, because at the present time, I've put all my money into paying the car off (which is now paid off now), Auto-X lessons, and spare wheels and tires. As a driver, I don't think I've surpassed the S2000s full potential from the factory so it's foolish to modify a car I haven't become really accustomed to at the track. Shogun body kit and 7inch lipped wheels aren't on my agenda at this time.

BTW, congrats on the new M three, I think the Red looks awesome, and isn't common in my area at all. I think the Gloss Black LE's would look really nice.

Thanks and I agree that the Black LE's do look nice, but after debating things in my head I've come to the conclusion that IMO Volks will go on my Japanese cars.......I may change my mind down the road

As for everything else - water under the bridge

I took some better pictures today - pics that I think are worthy of this thread

Yes, I used the most ed out photo shoot spot in Hampton Roads, but I thought the sky looked too cool to not be on a roof......too bad I had to do it on the side of the building with the least amount of sky

That seems to be a common opinion from Euro Car owners, and for a while I felt the exact same way. In reality, you could very well buy a set of BBS rims for you M3 that were made in the Japanese Factory, or you could get HRE's, which I believe are American. Just something to think about. There really are no European only wheel manufactures that make a wheel I like. I do like all the AC Schnitzer and Hamann wheels though. I hear they are a lot of money though. I also really like the gun metal mesh style wheels on the black M3 you posted pics of. For the street, I'd even consider some Kinesis designs, though their reputation is struggling after some track failures. I'm really excited for you because I too love the M3 and wish I could afford one. Good Luck
