Hard to keep clean? I suppose they could be, except that I'm a Wash & Wax whore with way too many microfiber cloths and cleaning supplies. Since I won't have a garage/hose/wash setup in the new place, the kitchen will have to do as my detailing outlet

Thanks, pointy
Seen her around Starbucks once or twice, on her bike... That's about it. She seems to be doing well.

A minor update - but a full day's work - installing and aligning doors and drawers and installing hardware...

Not sure about those middle cabinets, as we may be cutting them down, so no hardware yet -- the microwave will be in there

not sure about the large cabinet pull placement now...

had a washer laying around... this actually looks kind of nice

VERY handy hole-marking/drilling guide... there was another I used for the drawer pulls

We also uninstalled the french doors, disassembled the jamb, planed down the outside edges to make it fit in the (too small) rough opening and reassembled and reinstalled the whole thing. The doors now close properly and are aligned vertically. I just need to get the missing keepers to install in the head jamb and fill the gap in the jamb left by having to move the one side lower.

I actually uninstalled it myself, disassembled it and drove home with the top down and 2 door jambs sticking out over the passenger seat

I also picked up a Galant desk at IKEA yesterday (minus one T leg - of all the things for them to be out of!!). Can't wait to get that assembled and installed - it's going to be a little custom

That's it for now - cleaning up other areas in preparation for move-in on Monday!!

I just help install alot of that same kind of tile you have in your kitchen tonight.

Its alot different then any ive used before. Im guessing you or the tile guy sealed it a couple times before they grouted it? Do you remember how may times and with what kind of sealer?

Its extremely porous, and none of the tile was the same thickness or size... a real PITA
