Ong if you gonna go with a aggressive set like the spoon bumber and diffuser I really think you should sell your wheels and go wth something a little bit more wild and agressive to pull the whole car together. Just my 2 cents
i wouldnt know what to get...and i dont think i can afford it...unless anyone wants to trade me wheels and i put money on top...
polish ccw on your car would be money!

you know anyone willing to trade me +cash on top??

Detailing a black s2k is turning out to be a giant headache. I did my buddy's silvia a couple years ago and it required a two step but at least the paint was cooperative. I've spent much longer than I originally intended and so far all I have done is the hood, trunk, entire passenger side. I'm quickly finding how much stuff really shows on black that you'll get away with on just about any other color.

Hopefully I've only got one more good day of going at it to get the entire car done.

I've gotten it down to where I'm just about happy with it although it probably could use a third step to be perfect. The 3M stuff I have is a compound, polish, and fine polish.

If you were in my position and able to trade a set of CE28s with tires for a OEM hardtop would you do it?

I kind of want to put the CR lip on my car but I really don't like it unless the car has a hardtop.

This is one of the cars that has always made me like the CR lip/OEM top combo. Of course if I part with the CE28s I may never get another set again and I'll likely end up more rpf1s (which I'm ok with) Not as nice of a wheel but I'm building the car for me to enjoy driving and not trying to make something people will go nuts about.

For me personally the CR lip flows better with a Mugen HT. I always think of Rudy's car. Exterior mods if I had the cash would be a CR lip with a Mugen rep HT. The OEM is to rounded. Don't get me wrong, the OEM HT is a awesome piece butnot with a CR lip imo.

Oh and yes to the trade. You could always sell it. The is always a buyer for a HT it seems.

^Very good point. Especially a black one considering you can put it on any color car you want.

This is very true. A good pickup in my eyes. Oh Steve, I saw you post in the Mugen lip thread. There is a guy in the Mid-A that is selling a BB one.

Yeah I've had my eye on that one too. I'm just afraid I'll destroy a real one. I know I hit my old one plenty of times and at least it was urethane and could take a little bit of a beating. A real fiberglass one and I might be in trouble.

Plus what I'd really like is for Pete to come up off that Amuse bumper of his.

I think what I've decided for now is that I'm going to throw all the parts on the car I have sitting around and then if I change my mind I'll deal with it later.

I like we are still counting on Pete parting out haha.

Maybe get a cheap urethane lip from Baysonr and once you decide on what you really want, get it then. I agree with adding what parts you have now.

I've never been a fan of a AP2 front bumper w/o a lip. It looks awful. Ask me how I know. I recently had to take mine off and I can't stand to look at my car. I have to pull my bumper off for some fitment issues.
