I actually don't mind the bumper without a lip but only if the car is lowered a good amount. At stock ride height it doesn't look very good.

Ahh I need to see that. Maybe I'll do that this weekend.

I just got my Recaro installed in my car last night. Either I'm bigger than I was 8 months ago or I just forgot how tight the seat could be. I fit in it fine but it's more snug than I remember. I still need to play it to get it sitting in the car just right but it sure does feel better when you hit the corners!

Wait until you hit that special age where your metabolism comes to a crawl and it seems like everything you wear (including seats) were all ran through a dryer on super-high heat.

Haha. I know it's coming one of these days. I think it was just because I haven't had a bucket in so long that it just feels much tighter than it used to. In the 3 days I've had it I already feel like it fits much better and is a lot more comfy. Last night I fixed it so that I could slide it back as far as possible which made it far far more comfortable. I actually had to move it forward a little. If I keep it all the way back it feels good but then the steering wheel feels too far away. Sounds like an excuse to buy an aftermarket wheel

See I want to get a aftermarket wheel but I'm concerned about the SRS issue. I would hate for the light to be on constantly. I also want the wheel a little closer. I sit all the way back and the wheel seems soooo far.

I should've sat in Pete's car when he had the wheels.

I know there are hubs you can buy that will get you around the SRS issue. I don't think Pete has an SRS light on and his being 06+ should be the biggest pain to get around. I refuse to buy anything that's going to leave me with an obnoxious light on all the time. That's one of those things I just can't ignore.

Like you said if you sit far back the factory wheel just feels too far away. I'd be content with the factory wheel if I could bring it closer but I just don't think there is a way.

Also, speaking of aftermarket wheels I've always wanted suede but after seeing how they look after repeated use I always said I'd just go regular leather. This thread alone changed my mind about a suede wheel. In the end it isn't perfect but I didn't know you could make it look that good again.

I have no light in mine. all you have to do is buy 2ohm resistor from radio shack for a dollar. put one in if you are 00-03 and two if your 04+ or maybe 06+ reset your srs light and boom its gone. long as it is in there and the light is off the passenger side airbag will still go off if you happen to get in a accident. Ive had my aftermarket suede wheel for least 10+ months now and it still looks good. all you have to do is buy a suede brush and suede eraser from any shoe store and clean it about once a month. Najib next time you see me go ahead and sit in my car if you would like to see how it is. I also have a spacer on there to bring the wheel a little bit closer.

Will, I will have to take you up on that offer

Do you sit all the way back? What hub are you using? If I recall correctly from talking to Pete, he said that the Worksbell hub has the resistor built in? I was thinking about doing a Momo Monte Carlo 320mm wheel. Its all leather. I had one in my previous civic years back and I loved the feel of the wheel.
