Sova Chat Thread ver. II
This headlight thing is just bizarre to me. I don't get it. I leave for work this morning and it's working. By the time I get there it has stopped working. I leave work for my kickball game and still no working driver headlight. Play kickball and go to leave and it's still not working. Ok at least now it's acting the same all the time. Not 5 minutes into my drive home it comes back on and continues to stay on for the rest of my 30 minute drive home. Get into the driveway and put the car in park, headlight still on. Turn the car off and for kicks just turn the ignition to on just to see what happens. No working headlight again and it had been working not 5 seconds before. For the electronic gurus if I get ghetto with this and tap power from the passenger side light which does work as it should am I going to blow the fuse and kill that relay as well? I'm really not trying to spend $500 to fix this. I'll wire up my own headlight switch if I need to just to cut them on and off if it really comes down to it.
Steve - if all else fails, do this...

It's been weird but so far hasn't given me trouble in a time of need. It seems like once the car has been running a few minutes the light has been cutting back on so I'm not sure what's up. On another note it did throw a check engine light on my way home from VIR today. The car still ran absolutely fine so I'm guessing it isn't anything major. At least keeping my fingers crossed it isn't. It's definitely the car I'm not trying to spend any extra money on.
And if the lights end up being a more major probably a buddy of mine is going to help me just completely rewire them using our own fuses and relays off the switch or even adding it's own separate switch. I told him I want to use an s2000 push button start for the headlight switch
Not actually sure if that would work

Roland, what's up! Glad to see you found the S2k crew out there as well. We've been a little lower-key out here this summer with the meets, but hopefully we can pick it up when it gets under 90 degrees.

Decided to pass on a set of RE30s that I found because I've noticed how hard it has been to sell wheels on here, and how a lot of people have been taking hits on the price. So, since I'm keeping the GT-Cs, I thought about maybe taking the faces of them off and having them powdercoated a custom color, then doing a deep cleaning and polish on the barrels. Cory, I need to holla to find out what kind of prices your PC connection can do.
