Because I have a 2005, I admit I don't know a lot about what the flash pro is supposed to accomplish. What kind of gains could you expect on the dyno through tuning? I know I use to have the hondata reflash for my rsx back in 2004 and that was good for close to 20whp w/intake. NA mods on the K20A2 were a lot more effective than they are on the F22C. Can you 06+ guys get good gains with the flashpro and tuning?

Yeah, Flashpro can give some great gains to the 06+ cars. Especially if you're running a good header/exhaust setup. And of course, it's the best option for boosted 06+ guys.

I came very close to picking it up when I had the ASM header. Would have completely changed the car.

Compared to having to go to standalone or some sub-par piggy back system for anything 00-05 the Flashpro is awesome. In my opinion you can never beat a reflash tool. It will always leave the car driving very OEM like.

It's really just another tuning tool. These motors really don't have a lot to give up top but it's the midrange where it really shines. Supposedly just running a test pipe in place of the stock cat and a good tune on the flashpro makes for a night and day difference. I also bought a Berk test pipe to go along with it. I've done a fair amount of reading and basically the only way to truly utilize lowering vtec is to go test pipe. I'm really looking forward to what this will do. I've also heard it will make the drive-by-wire feel more natural like a standard cable throttle.

You'll sell it before you install it.

If the right part comes up before I get to that point you bet your ass I will

Pete does have a great point though about letting you disable the secondary o2. No worries about a cel fix or anything if running a testpipe.

Pete: Do you have the flashpro?
Steve: It sounds very similar to Kpro with was exactly what all of the RSX guys were getting (especially the boosted ones) right before I sold my RSX for my first S2K. I watched a friend with a supercharged RSX-S do some datalogging and tuning with his, and it seemed like it was very functional. Now that I know what it is, I'd have to agree that it is the more worthwhile mod when compared to 4.44 gears.

Pete doesn't have the flashpro.

I'm pretty sure it's very similar to Kpro. It should be very very functional and probably has tons of things I'll never use. I think it's easier than gears as well. I've got a buddy that tunes so he'll probably be anxious to play with it. I'm planning on slapping the test pipe on the car and trying out the Toda reflash. From the reading I've done that's a great starting place.

Ball outta control. Get both. On a related note, I've had an Xbox 360 since the 1st week it came out. I think I've played it 20 times in the past 3 years maybe. I have games I haven't opened from Christmas 2009. No time for videogames when you're married with kids and have a golf habit.
