Nah, not top secret.

Took car back up to Inline Pro on Wednesday; wanted to swap out the 675cc injectors to 900cc injectors and turn up the boost a bit more.

Was originally 424whp / 279wtq @ 16psi.

The new tune had a couple of issues; first with the calibration in the FlashPro that had to be changed by their (Hondata) Head Tech. Once that was done, the car would no longer break up over 16psi. Then we hit a wall at 16psi and ran out of boost control; so we changed out the wastegate spring. Once that was done; the VSC system started acting up on the dyno. Once we got past that one, we started turning the boost up and it fell flat on it's face and wouldn't make power. Ultimately we came to the conclusion that it was due to me having a stock exhaust... too much backpressure. So I've officially tested the limits of the stock exhaust with a test pipe - it's approximately 420ish horsepower.

That said.. we had to limit it to 18psi around 6500-7k rpms and tapers off to 16psi at redline.

As the boost did fall, the horsepower didn't climb as high so the new horsepower number is lower, but the torque did gain a few!

new numbers
414whp / 319wtq

So, 10whp loss, 40wtq gain!

Black sucks to detail but when it's done right it looks sooo good. I did my buddy's Silvia and the difference was night and day. He actually thought the car might have been Navy blue when he got b/c of all the swirls. It didn't come out to 100% correction but I'd say we got to 80-85% correction and it actually looked BLACK. I love fresh detailed black with no swirls. I'd buy a black car if it wasn't my DD.
