Question for you guys...

About a month ago my wife informed me that my car wouldn't start(dead battery). It's just been sitting in the garage with the dead battery. Any of you think there would be any harm to continue to let it sit there? Still have about 6 weeks before I'm back.

 

Just let it sit Pete. No sense in putting a new battery in it for it to sit 6 more weeks.

 

Nope when I had my prelude I went to Japan for a year. Changed the battery ran fine.

My wife would like to drive it, but she'll just have to suck it up until next month.

 

Original battery?

Tell her to go ahead and take it out... do not put it on concrete though. Just tell her to put it on a board or something in the garage. Then about a week before you get home, tell her to get it to me.. I'll see if I can have one of the techs at our shop put it on the charger for the night.

Hopefully doing so will get it back up for ya so you don't need to replace. But do let her know to disconnect it so it doesn't drain anymore power.
