**UPDATE**

I found a couple of nice places in Ewa to rent, pretty reasonable compared to most places. I havent been to that area during my visits so I just wanted to know if its a safe place. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Also I have a couple of phone interviews lined up the next couple of days so . Thanks again.

ewa is getting pretty rough. couple of murders there in the past month or so.

 

I have a couple of firearms, whats the procedure on getting those there when I move?

i think you have 72 hours once you arrive to register them with Honolulu Police Dept, otherwise you can be charged with possession of an unregistered firearm.

 

Ifyou are going to be working or playing anywhere but Ewa then don't move there.. traffic is a biatchchchchchchchchchchc getting in and out of there.. I mean bad bad too.

 

agreed. ewa traffic sucks!!! i couldnt handle the commute. on the average its 1.5 to 2 hours to and from home everyday!!!
as far as crime, it depends on the neighborhood. the most recent murder was in one of the newer subdivisions, near my parents house
