I am not looking forward to dealing with this when the time comes. One thing I do know though, is that there will/would be problems if I had anyone "bouncing up and down" on any part of my car as part of a bump/suspension test. 'Fraid I would have to call someone to come get me out of the pokey if that happened and I saw it.

No idea you were trying to supercharge your car...I was just wondering if my intake/exhaust was gonna pass a safety inspection without RECON and wanted to verify. Took about a 1/2 dozen tries, but finally got through. BTW, the earliest they could take me should I want a RECON was 3/20!

Yea, I am going to, but not in the immediate future. Something best left for down the road when I get closer to moving back to Germany (crosses fingers). Think the extra power would be fun when playing on the 'ring.

Ha..why is it with every Military I've worked with that came from Germany, have a European wife and can't wait to get back?

Must be the beer....

Not just the beer. To be honest, I drank MUCH more beer when I lived in England. I don't really care for most German (please note German, not Bavarian) beer that much and used to make frequent drives in Belgium to get the good stuff. And it that lies the best part of living there, you get all the history of the area, as well as the stunning landscapes, and the ability to just get in the car and end up in another country. And on top of that, one summer drive in a roadster through the tight and twisty roads down in the Alps is all you would need to convince you to do whatever you could to come back.
