Default Brake changing time any recommendations?

Well its about that time and I will be buying brakes and pads online. Can you guys recommend a shop that will change them for me besides the dealer. Would do it myself but I do not want to mess with critical parts such as the brakes.

Thanks!

Changing brakes is pretty straight forward. I've installed various calipers over the years with no issues.

What brakes are you swapping out to?

All you'll need is an impact screw driver to undo the screws holding the rotor on...

That's about it for rotors

only issue youre going to run into with changing pads is the rear ones...you need a special tool...checkers carries a shitty one so i would recommend getting a good one online or if someone on here has a good one

The rotors are worn in pretty good. I can definitely feel and see that there is about 0.5mm or so of rotor worn in and my pads need to be changed soon. The rears are very good with lots of pad left. I just want to start again with new braking equipment. I guess the previous owner used the brakes a lot.

On my 5 year old RSX Type-S, I still had 90% pad left. I like to use energy management to avoid using so much braking from stop light to stop light...

Brakes are the one thing that I am too afraid to mess with so I never did them before. My old RSX never needed a brake change cause I hardly used them...all gas!
