Well here is what some of us have:

Blue S2000 with Cwest kit- Tein RS coilovers
Silver S2000 with Cwest kit-Neuspeed springs(Comptech coilovers on order)
Yellow S2000 with Cwest kit- Comptech coilovers/Koni adjustables
Red S2000 with OEM kit- Buddyclub coilovers
Black S2000 with OEM kit- Neuspeed springs
Silver S2000 with OEM kit- Tein coilovers
Also some of us have the rear lower tiebars, Strut tower braces, mid braces, etc. to go along with the suspensions.

The red S2000 is the lowest right now with a 3.5 inch drop.
The yellow S2000 is at a 2.5 inch drop
The blue S2000 is at a 2.5 inch drop
The silver (cwest kit S2k) is at a 1.5 inch drop
The black S2000 is at a 1.5 inch drop
The other silver S2000 is at a 2.0 inch drop(I think)

From what I have seen from the Buddyclubs at that drop it rides smooth on stock OEM wheels and tires. My S2000 and the blue one are similar in ride quality(I have been in both) but you cant really compare a JDM coilover with an american made one. Dont get me wrong Comptech is very good but I should have went with Cusco or Spoon or Buddyclub. I just didnt have the money at the time. I just put on new S02s and the ride is a lot better. My tires were almost bald so I felt everything. Now its ops normal. As far as recommendations go I would do some research as well and ask any of these owners on their opinion on the setup they have.
As far as price goes Tein will cost you some big bucks as will the Buddyclubs. My setup wasnt cheap either.
Let us know if there is anything else you want to know
Have a good one....

The silver calipers were the prototypes and the finished products are the blue calipers...
