Default got my spark plug recall done today...

I went to Pflueger Honda today to do my spark plug recall, and I wasn't too impressed with the mechanics. I took it in at 11:00, and I waited for about an hour (not too bad), but when I got the car back, it took a few more turns than normal to start, and it was idling low and rough and I could see the "check engine" light on. They took it back immediately and I had to wait another half an hour to get my car back.
You would think that they would check that the car was running properly before they return it to me
It was probably a minor problem, but it was a first impression, and it wasn't a good one. I think I'll stick with Acura for my servicing.

That's funny to hear. So what was wrong? Did they forget plug one of the wires in? I did my recall at Honda Windward and had no problems (See Chad). That's another place to consider unless Acura will do the Honda recalls for you.

The guy said mine was the first one they did, and I said "Really? This notice went out 3 weeks ago and I'm the first?".
He said S2000's are rare
Anyway, I don't think it was a big problem. They probably just forgot to plug in one of the sensors. I didn't think they had to unplug anything other than the spark plugs for this recall...
