Default I need a vacation

hello everyone..

well... I'm due for a vacation soon(maybe in the next couple of weeks) I was thinking maybe Hawaii. I've never been, but i do know someone there..808_JDM(s2ki member) lived in Vegas for a couple of years and has moved back to Hawaii recently and has volunteered to show me around if i visit. I'm not into the tourist thing, but rather go there just to get away from things here, basically just to chill and relax.

can you guys recommend any Hotels or resorts on the beach? money isn't much of an issue unless they're charging a ridiculous amount. I'll probably be there for a week or so.

I'm lazy and don't like to search for old threads...lol

Thanks
David

Go to any island other than Oahu if you just want to chill out and relax away from the tourist thing. Can't really suggest any hotels though, never needed one down here.

Let us know what date you arrive and maybe we can plan a meet. We haven't done one of those in a while.

outside of waikiki, koolina is nice. in waikiki, resortquest, marriot or sheraton.

if you take bupton's advice and go to neighbor islands, check out kapalua in maui or you can also check the hotels above for maui or kauai. lanai is really really really chill. there are only three hotels there.

good luck.

As far as I know, all s2ki members are on Oahu. After all these years, there was only one that posted from the Big Island, and no he lives on Oahu!

If you're interested in Resort Quest, I can forward your information to my wife, she works there and might have some suggestions on where to stay.

I can't believe you left out the Big Island.. or as I like to call it The Best Island. Kamehameha didn't live there for nothing.
