Default ITB's and hardtop ?'s

Hello! Just had a couple of questions. I was wondering if anybody was running ITB's on the island? If so, were they able to keep ac running with the car at idle?

Also does anybody know of a local place to get a fiberglass mugen hardtop or vis mugen style hardtop? I'm thinking about ordering one from a vendor on here, but after reading horror stories about chaser, and shipping horror stories, I'm kinda weary. I've come across a couple of oem style hardtops on the island for sale, but never any mugen or mugen style tops. Thanks for any advice or suggestions!

I'm new to the website, and havent been on the island very long, but you guys all seem really cool. I'd like to come out to a meet one day.

no idea about the itbs effecting the ac. i'm sure someone will chime in.
alex (integraxtr) is selling his authentic mugen frp ht.
if you can afford the authentic mugen ht then fitment will be a non-issue

A good tune will allow the car to idle just fine with a static load, such as AC. I haven't got to dive into the technicalities too much with my car since i had it, but just considering they don't need each other to run doesn't seem to institute a major compatibility issue.

If you know somebody with this problem then I'm gonna go out and a limb and say they have a garbage tune ( or dont have one at all ).

I drove my friends ITB GSR back on the mainland an entire summer blasting the A/C with no problems.

jzz30 you tune? Where? As for my ac problem, when ever I turn the ac on at idle, the car just stalls out. Kinda sucks, but it drives great and ac works fine while driving. I did get the car tuned by a reputable shop though, but I've never heard of anyone else having the ac issue I have.

As for the mugen hardtop, I did get a pm from integraxtr, but its a little out of my price range =(. The best I could do was shoot him an offer.

As far as ITB's go, its debatable if its a waste of money. Just depends on what "you" want. High hp, track car, throttle response, etc. It doesnt make huge hp at all, but it is quicker, throttle response is unmatched, and nothing beats the sound of ITBs at FT.

It's debatable. ITB's sounds good.

as for power, most mods are utilized only a fraction of the time you actually drive your car.
