jzz30 you tune? Where? As for my ac problem, when ever I turn the ac on at idle, the car just stalls out. Kinda sucks, but it drives great and ac works fine while driving. I did get the car tuned by a reputable shop though, but I've never heard of anyone else having the ac issue I have.

As for the mugen hardtop, I did get a pm from integraxtr, but its a little out of my price range =(. The best I could do was shoot him an offer.

As far as ITB's go, its debatable if its a waste of money. Just depends on what "you" want. High hp, track car, throttle response, etc. It doesnt make huge hp at all, but it is quicker, throttle response is unmatched, and nothing beats the sound of ITBs at FT.
just take it back and explain the problem. it should be a quick fix.
it is better than stock and what not but like you say its what you are after.

Yeah, I talked to them when I went to pick the car up. They said that was the only downside of the tune. It was running super rich prior to that and I was getting terrible gas mileage (like 8 mpg), so I dunno, just trying to get the car to run right with ac. I'm getting my clutch swapped out, so I may ask them about it again.

Google Engine Management Advanced Tuning and High Performance Fuel Injections systems by Greg Banish.

If you have a basic concept on what tuning is and how it effects the drive-ability of your car...these books are awesome reads. Its not going to teach you how to strap the thing on a dyno and tune it like a pro but it will give you A LOT of insight on tuning solutions for different ( major ) aspiration modifications.

Okay cool, thanks for the advice and direction. I kinda fell into a deal with the whole ITB setup, and it wouldnt have been my original route, but I'm trying to make due with what I have. Since I got it tuned, it runs 10 times better, so at least its reliable now. No ac isnt a huge deal, since it is a convert, but it would just be nice to have the features that the car came with. Thanks to everyone for the advice and comments.

honestly aftermarket ITB's are for race cars that are supposed to extract every little bit of NA power. your car probably doesnt have an IAC valve and cant compensate for the increased load. the only way around this without changing anything is to open the idle. and make the car idle constantly at like 1200~1500 rpm or so and when the ac kicks in it will go down to 8~900.
