Ryan at Vakamon because he's familiar with AEM and owns and S2000 himself. He's also the first guy who said he could work with my schedule and tune a night.

No tuning tonight. Care made funny noises when I fired it up, the valve cover was removed, and lots of metal shavings were found. I towed it to Vakamon and tomorrow we found out how much I need to spend so I can drive my car again.

I don't know. I've only started it a couple times in the past few months and haven't been driving it. I started it yesterday and drove it a couple blocks very slow and careful to see if it could handle being driven a few miles to Vakamon. I have a good base map and a little trip like that shouldn't have been a problem, but it made some mechanical noises so I killed it and just called a tow truck since my insurance provides them at no cost. After I got it there they found the metal shavings under the valve cover and now I'm waiting for them to check it out. I've got a guess about whats going on, but I won't really know until they inspect everything.

I don't know, it was late and I was home when they opened it up to take a look. They're going to inspect it today and I'm going to drive over to see for myself when I get off work.
