Looking for Tires
i need new tire for my back rims.
the originally came with Nitto's 255/35/18
i replaced them with Michelin's 255/35/18 but they weren't as wide. the are stretched out. I read the forums and the Nitto's have a bigger contact patch so eventho the numbers are the same the Nittos are wider.
So now i need to replace the Michelins's. since the Nitto's are wider then nomal tires i'm looking for 265/35/18. it doesn't have to be ultra high performance, i would rather have good rain tires, with V grooves in them.
Where do you guys get your tires from locally.

check out costcos website for tires. they carry all kinds of sports tires. you usually won't find sports tires in stock at costco so you'll have to order them online and have them shipped to and installed at your local costco location. their prices are good and they fill your tires with nitrogen. the only downside is it takes at least 3 weeks to get your tires to hawaii so if you're in a rush you're gonna have to either buy local or try tirerack.com.

Thanks for the suggestions, i stopped by Costo, and they had BFG G-Force Sport, $170.... I think this is pretty good...
i found some cheap korean tires on ebay for $112. but like you guys said, after shipping, and mounting. might as well get these.
They are not the best looking thread pattern, but they have a high threadwear (340). hopefully they last +20,000mi.
Thanks for the help. I would never actually thought of going Costco.
