HI all!

Looks like work will transfer me to the beautiful state of Hawaii this fall,
(man the things I put up with for money) I am definately bringing my '03 spa with me to O'ahu (did I spell that right?) Any tips on finding new digs? How about cruising? Any advice or tips about living in paradise you care to share, please do.

Welcome to our forum. I'm replying from work, but I'm sure people will chime in with suggestions. BTW, where will you be working? This will probably play a factor on where you would like to lookf for housing...

 

the best thing would be to try to familiarize yourself with street names because its not the easiest for people just moving here.

 

Thanks for the reply, I will be working at Wheeler Army Airfield, and a few friends suggeted the Norht Shore was a good area to look for a place to live. Street names, Man, How am I ever gonna pronouce these things!

I plan on reshodding my S before shipping, anything else that I might want to do before leaving the mainlaind?

If you're working at Wheeler, you're better off living in Mililani, Waipio, Wahiawa, Whitmore Village, Waikele, Royal Kunia, Waipahu and Ewa Beach. You will have a very short commute time. Please note, the price of housing is outrageous in Hawaii, so be prepared!
