Need Help
I have decided to finally install my BF gauges and was wondering where I could get the sensor attachment for the oil pressure gauge which connects to the original genuine pressure switch hole? So both will be connected to the same hole where the original genuine pressure switch was. I bought the Greddy oil block adapter for the oil temp and heard that you could connect the oil pressure to that also since it comes with 3 sensor holes, but decided to keep them separated. I know they say it is best to connect the oil temp to the pan by tapping in, but don't want to do it that way. I know there are a few guys who have the oil pressure and would like to know where you got that part if you are using it. Thnx
I'm not sure what you are asking. Did you want to use the orginal hole on the engine block where the stock oil pressure sender is attached and use a "T" fitting so you can add your new oil pressure sender (Gauge) and reattach the stock oil pressure sender?
where ever u get the T adapter, I would suggest running a short peice of braided line from the block to the T, so the T isnt just sticking out fo the block supporting the weight of both senders, after a while it may crack.
Thnx guys. Yeah thats where I bought the Greddy adapter from and went today to see if they had the T but they didnt. I'll try and hook it up to the adapter and see what happens
Well they said that is what it is for but I just didnt want to use it for the pressure. Oh well it should look sweet either way.

Ben,
For my oil pressure gauge install I got my parts from Hydra-Air out by the airport near Byron's Drive In. From the engine block after your remove the stock sender you will need One, 1/8 FPTx1/18 BSP (That

Ben,
Forgot to add. The threaded hole on the engine block is a 1/8-28 BSP and it is a non tapered hole. Some say you can use an 1/8 NPT (American) fitting and teflon tape to fill in the gap to make it work. It has been done, and sometimes without any problems.
Me and Mr. MURPHY are old buds, and I know he'll raise is ugly head and let oil leak out if I used a 1/8 NPT (American) fitting and teflon tape to install my oil pressure sender.
